Prayer for the sick
Lord Jesus, we thank you for everything you did during your public life and everything you did today in your people, and like the centurion at the foot of the cross who cried out: "Truly, this man was the Son of God," seeing the wonders of your love, we too want to cry out: "Truly this man is the Son of God." And tonight, we profess our faith.
We believe that you are the Son of God made man, that you are the Messiah and Saviour and that you came upon the earth of men to free us from sin, to heal our wounds, to heal our illnesses and to give us life in abundance. Lord Jesus, tonight, look upon all these sick people who are here. They have come to you because they trust in you. Have compassion on them, Jesus; do not look at our sins, but at the faith of your Church.
Look at the faith of all these sick people, Jesus, who have come with great sacrifices; some have come from very far to ask a special blessing in their life, to ask you to give them back their health. You are the fullness of life, Jesus, you are the health of the sick, you are the resurrection and the life. Pass through this assembly, Lord, and lay your blessed hand on each of our sick.
Bless them, give them a deep peace, free them from all anxieties, from all fears, and begin to heal several of the sick among us, tonight, so that they too may bear witness to the wonders of your love. Let them proclaim your glory and let their healing be one more sign of your living presence in the Church today. All that, Jesus, we ask you through the intercession of Mary, our mother, and we thank you in advance for everything you are going to do for each of our sick.
Here, Father Émilien Tardif recollects himself and says a prayer in a low voice.
Then he continues. Lord Jesus, we thank you for being truly present in your people tonight and for freeing anxious persons, persons who suffered much from insomnia, for healing the deep wounds of their heart which were the root of their anxiety and their insomnia and, from tonight, there are persons, present here, who are going to find a deep sleep again. Jesus, in your goodness, heal our wounds. He is the Prince of peace, he comes to give you back this capacity to sleep and to rest and to live in peace.
Thank you, Jesus, for healing several persons of insomnia. Glory to you, Lord! There is also a lady present here who was to be operated on this week for a cancer in the left breast and she came to pray in faith, and the Lord begins to heal your cancer. The nodules you had are going to disappear within a few days. There will no longer be any trace of cancer in you and the doctor will not need to do the operation you feared so much. And Jesus is going to give you a deep healing of your cancer in the course of the coming days.
You too, you will be able to bear witness in a few weeks to what Jesus did for you in his great mercy. Glory to you, Lord! Still tonight, Jesus wants to touch and heal persons who suffered from paralysis. There is someone here who could not lift his right arm. You had a paralysis in the right arm and you could not lift it and Jesus is in the process of healing your arm. This tingling you feel in your arm, I invite you to move your arm to see if it is indeed you. You could not lift your arm and, now, you can do it.
I do not know where you are, and in faith, I invite you to give thanks to God and to bear witness right away, because you can lift your arm which would not lift because of your pain. Where are you? Who is this person who had this pain in the right arm, which prevented him from lifting his arm? The person who is healed of his right arm, I invite him to stand up, to identify himself. Do not fear, give glory to God, publicly. You are present in the assembly. Where are you? It is beautiful when we give glory to God, right away, because it is evident. Well, where are you?
Rise, lift your arm... and the person stood up and lifted his arm. Thank you for your testimony. Glory to you, Lord! There is also someone who was walking painfully with a cane and whom the Lord is healing at this moment. If you want to stand without the help of your cane, you are going to begin to walk and the Lord is going to strengthen your legs. He invites you to make an act of faith and to stand and to walk without the help of your cane, without the help of anyone. Let us see who this person is quickly. You are able to stand and walk. If you want to give glory to God, walk right away.
We are going to look for who are the people who have a cane, we must find him quickly because the Lord wants to heal you. Do not refuse this beautiful gift that Jesus offers you freely. You must make an act of faith, stand up, walk to realize what Jesus gives you. The same person who had lifted his arm stood up and began to walk. He approached the stage slowly to the applause of the crowd. Then, it is the same one! Well, yes! It is quite possible! That happens very often. Let him pass. He approached Father Tardif accompanied by other people.
It happens very often that the same healing continues. Thank you, Lord! Glory to you, Lord! Thank you, Jesus. So, without the help of anyone, walk. In the name of Jesus walk. And the Lord strengthens your legs. Strengthen him, give him to walk as you healed the paralytic of the Gospel. And the same individual walked in front of the platform where Father Tardif stood. Thank you, Jesus. You are going to walk more and more easily. Without the help of anyone, walk; in the name of Jesus, walk. Now lift your arm for the glory of God. He lifted his arm, weeping with joy.
Alleluia! Thank you, Lord! So you must now continue to do exercise every day. Do not forget, the Lord heals you, but there is a time of rehabilitation and now, every day, do your exercise. Where was that cane? Did you have it here? Tonight, you can keep it to return home, but tomorrow you are going to do exercise and the day after, you are going to walk longer every day so that afterwards you can give your cane as a gift to someone. But, tonight, out of prudence, there is ice, keep your cane. Glory to you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!
My brothers, still tonight, the Lord blesses his people; there are many inner healings tonight. There is here a mother of a family who is very anxious, sad, because her son of twenty took his own life. This mother is present here, she cannot find peace again. She is very worried and the Lord, tonight, wants to heal your mother's heart, your wounded heart. And the Lord puts in my heart the certainty that your son, at the moment of his death, had a moment of lucidity and he asked God for pardon. Fear no longer for his salvation. Thank God. The mother stood up. She was weeping.
Thank you, Jesus, for healing the heart of this mother, for giving her back peace and joy. Thank you, Jesus, for having brought with you, into eternity, this son at the moment of his death and thank you for having given him repentance. Tonight, there have been special prayers for the persons who suffered from the spine. Tonight, several have received this healing. I am certain that, in the assembly, there are at least two men and a few women who could right away stand and bear witness to the healing of their spine, and it is so evident.
A few people stood up in the audience. Which are the others who have been healed of their spine? It is easy to verify, you can make a gesture. A lady stood up... There is a lady over there. You too. There is someone over there who cries out his joy. Are you better in your spine? Can you bend easily? The lady bent. Well, that is it. Glory to you, Lord! Is there no one here? A man stood up. It is you? Can you bend easily? He bent. You no longer have pain? He signalled no. Blessed be the Lord! Thank you for your testimony.
This afternoon, I forgot to tell the persons who receive a healing to keep your medications until the day when it is evident that you will no longer need them. Sometimes, by error or by ignorance, there are people who leave their medications at the moment of their healing and it is not prudent. Keep your medications until the moment when it is very evident that your healing is completed. The medications will not prevent the Lord from doing the healing. Thank you, Jesus! The man who had just been healed of his arm and of his two legs was still circulating in front of the platform accompanied by a few people.
He was so happy to be able to walk that he did not dare sit down. So, he must continue his exercise. For how long had this man not walked? Two and a half years. Thank you, Lord! So, he too is going to do exercise and it is going to go better and better.
The Lord does his work

It had been three years since he walked. How good the Lord is! Do not go believing, my brothers, that a healing of paralysis happens instantly. Believe it, all the healings of paralysis that I see throughout the world have the habit of being progressive. Sometimes, a person walks three or four steps the first day and can do no more. Then, the next day, he walks a little more. Do not go believing that after a healing of paralysis someone can go play baseball right away. That is not what happens, usually. It is a healing. When the Lord begins, he continues his work. Alleluia!
Blessed be the Lord! Several people, tonight, are physically healed of the heart. Among these people, there are those who suffered from high blood pressure and who receive a complete healing tonight. It will be easy to verify for you. There were people who had great difficulty climbing stairs because of their heart disease, who are in the process of being healed. Your heart beats strongly. There are those who felt a heat in the heart physically and did not know why. The Lord does his work, he heals several people who had a sick heart.
How happy we are for this good father of fifty-eight who had not walked for three years and who, in faith, stood up and began to walk tonight. Blessed be you, Lord! My brothers, I believe that there are several people among you who, if time allowed, could come here and tell their testimony because there are several who are in the process of being healed and we truly cannot enumerate everything the Lord does. Moreover, he does not reveal everything to us. We are going to finish, but Jesus has not finished. He continues.
I am certain that there are going to be, tonight, people who are going to realize their healing during their return home. Returning home, they are going to realize that their pain is gone. Another person is going to say: "I had varicose veins, look my legs are quite clean, it is healed." There will be those who will be healed of the liver. There are numerous healings tonight, believe it, it is you who are going to proclaim it while bearing witness. I finish by asking you to bear witness to what Jesus did for you. Let us recall a few facts that occurred throughout the world.
Father Tardif tells a testimony: that of a couple of Ecuadorians, restored to health after a road accident that had them bedridden in wheelchairs. Then, he announced that two people suffering from cancer had begun the healing, a healing that will happen progressively. Then, a person who suffered from ringing in the ears was healed. A man who suffered from multiple sclerosis for a dozen years stood up and walked toward the father. The Lord tells me that four people in the room have just been healed of pains in the spine! Stand up!
Do not be ungrateful. Come and bear witness to your healing. "It is me, I no longer have pain," exclaims an individual while bending to touch his feet and to prove to all that his back is like new. Another man rushes to his knees on the stage. A woman, right next to him, bursts into tears and lifts her arms crying: "Alleluia." She is freed from her arthritis. There will be deaf people who will remove their device. And it continues...
